Odrance is a software company that designs and builds tailored applications for businesses. We work with small and mid-sized companies that have clear processes in their heads but tools that don't follow them.
Mission
To make software a real advantage rather than one more thing to manage. Every project we take on has to save real people time, measurably: fewer manual entries, and less information going missing in the hand-offs between systems.
Vision
Tailored software shouldn't be a privilege of large companies. With the development tools available today, a small business can have applications built around its own processes at a cost and pace that would have been unthinkable a few years ago. We want that to be the norm.

The problem first, the technology after
We spend time understanding how you work today before proposing anything. If the problem can be solved without writing code, we'll say so.
Frequent releases, not big announcements
We ship working software to a staging environment every two weeks. It's far easier to tell us what's wrong with something you can open and use.
Simple for the people using it
The people who'll use the software rarely want to learn a new tool. We design so that the right path is also the obvious one.
No black boxes
Technical decisions get explained in terms that make sense even if you're not in the trade, along with what they mean over time. Nothing decided on your behalf and discovered after the fact.
